Association of Islamic Treasures (AIT) is a private institution with 40 years of experience and an international scope. It has published more than 700 books and performed many activities as follows:
1- Digitization of private and public collections: including documents and manuscripts. So far, more than 200 libraries (including manuscripts, documents, lithographs, and ancient texts) have been taken photograph, all of which include more than 100,000 ancient books and manuscripts, more than 200,000 documents and more than 100,000 stones (inscriptions and gravestones).
2- Indexing manuscripts and documents: About 250 volumes have been published from this collection. So far, AIT has published the greatest number of indexes of manuscripts and lawful and public documents in Iran. The indexes of manuscripts are mostly relevant to the libraries in Iran and some others are from the countries such as India, Pakistan, Turkey, Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon and Italy. The published documents have social and lawful fields, and are related to the documents of Iran during the Qajar period; but, at the same time, some important documents from Iraq, Afghanistan and Turkey have been published too.
3- Holding international conferences in collaboration with scientific centers: So far, two International Conferences on the Common Heritage of Iran and India (2013) and the Common Heritage of Iran and Iraq (2015) have been held and the International Conference on the Common Heritage of Turkey and Iran will be held in March 2017.
4- Research and edition of ancient manuscripts in different fields: More than 120 volumes have so far been published.
5- Facsimile printing of the scientific works: More than 50 volumes have been published.
6- Cooperation in holding workshops of manuscripts and documents.
