T<span class=\"fontstyle0\">he planning was determined to create a reference work that would capture this century\u2019s best achievements in Qur<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">\u0001\u0101<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">nic studies.<\/span> It has <span class=\"fontstyle0\">an alphabetical format of an encyclopedia to include a series of longer, more comprehensive articles. T<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">he <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">EQ <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle3\">presents<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\"> the world of Qur<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle4\">\u0001\u0101<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">nic studies accessible to a very broad range of academic scholars and educated readers.<\/span>\u00a0 <span class=\"fontstyle0\">Virtually every article in this encyclopedia draws, directly or indirectly, upon the corpus of Qur<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">\u0001\u0101<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">nic exegesis. Nevertheless, project containment demanded that the focus of concentration remain the Qur<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">\u0001\u0101<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">n itself. Therefore, readers of the <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle3\">eq <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">will not find a separate article on al-<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">\u0007T<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">abar<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">\u012b <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">or Fakhr al-D<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">\u012b<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">n al-R<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">\u0101<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">z<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">\u012b<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">, but they will find frequent reference to the works of these commentators and the EQ<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle4\">\u2019<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">s<br \/>\nthe cumulative index will allow users to track these references through all of its volumes. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>It is in Iranian milieu that some independent scholars came to translate this invaluable encyclopedia into Persian. The project was started in 2011 and yet in the procedure. Four volumes of this work are translated and published in Tehran during 2011-2019 and the fifth one is translated and will publish accompany index soon. The title in Persian is <a href=\"https:\/\/atharebartar.com\/category\/books\/%d8%af%d8%a7%db%8c%d8%b1%d9%87-%d8%a7%d9%84%d9%85%d8%b9%d8%a7%d8%b1%d9%81-%d9%82%d8%b1%d8%a2%d9%86-%d8%ac%d9%84%d8%af-%d8%a7%d9%88%d9%84\/\">Daeratu al-Ma&#8217;arif Quran<\/a>.
