Little to no attention has been given to the traditions on\u02bfAl\u012b b. Ab\u012b \u1e6c\u0101lib\u2019s collection of the Qur\u2019an. This book examines both Shi\u02bfi and Sunni traditions on the issue, aiming to date them back to the earliest possible date and, if possible, verify their authenticity. To achieve this, the traditions are examined using Harald Motzki\u2019sisn\u0101d-cum-matn method, which is recognized as an efficient tool in dating the early Islamic traditions and involves the analysis of both text and isn\u0101d(chain of transmission) with an emphasis on finding a correlation between the two. &#8220;Kara&#8217;s application of hadith criticism to Shi\u2018i sources is innovative as well as constructive. Respectful of others\u2019 contributions, he nonetheless subverts conventional skeptical and starkly sectarianized approaches to\u00a0 scriptural textual history.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>For taking a look at
